We had Khile do some work recently on our home. They did a remodel / addition of which we were very pleased. The work is beautiful. They not only did it in a timely manner, but a very professional job as well. Dan had great ideas where we were unsure of what we wanted, and took our finances into consideration as well.

The value of our home has gone up significantly and we are very please with all the added space. We had a master bedroom and master bath put in and it looks lovely. We also added a country porch, had the entire house re-sided, and lots of little extras. .

We would not hesitate to refer Khile to friends or family when they have a need for his services. We have gotten to know Dan and his family thru out this process on a more personal level and have enjoyed that very much as well.

My daughter and I are renovating a farm and first contacted Khile about a concrete floor for the barn. Since than, they have helped us on various other projects and we plan to have them do more work in the future.

It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Dan and his crews. He is not only prompt and competent, he has an ability to see the whole picture. Not only does he immediately get the “vision” but he brings added ideas and suggestions that enhance the original plan. He is always on time in terms of starting a job as well as completing it. It wasn’t easy for me to decide on a contractor and as you know I met with a number of people before deciding on you and your team. With my extensive travel schedule it was so important to me to find someone I could trust while I was out of town. Not only did I find someone I could trust but to my surprise ended up with someone I could call a friend.

As you know this turned into quite a project from were we started. Beginning with a modest plan to relocate a staircase and slightly enlarge the garage quickly turned into an entire house remodel. Your team’s patience and creativity is truly the only reason the house turned out as good as it did throughout my plan changes and additions. You and your team’s ability to adapt and get the job done not only in a timely fashion but even
somehow stay within my budget is truly an accomplishment.

I have to start by noting that you took this job with only two weeks notice after I became uncomfortable with my originally scheduled contractor. That really highlighted your flexibility and willingness to get the job done no matter what right up front. And that flexibility continued to show throughout this job. You were quite willing and open to working with the arrangement I proposed where my good friend and ?live-in? contractor would be responsible for parts of the job and you other parts. I appreciated that flexibility!

You also were full of quite useful suggestions, some of which made a substantial difference in the final product that is now our remodeled first floor. In particular your suggestions on getting rid of our second set of posts and beams in favor of a single load-bearing wall made a HUGE difference in the look and usability of the new space.

The other thing that I think is really stand out Dan was how you reacted when we did have a problem. When your concrete sub-contractor didn?t pour my driveway exactly to the specifications that I wanted you were out at my house the very next day and we worked out a satisfactory solution at no extra cost to me. Your boys were then out there the very next day fixing the problem. You are a man of your word Dan, and I really appreciate that.

I should also note that I appreciate your billing practice as well. Rather than all the normal contractor first draw, second draw, last draw horror stories you hear (I heard another just last week!) that fact that I was billed weekly and only for work that had been completed gave me a lot of confidence that I would get what I paid for. That helped relieve a lot of the stress normally associated with contractor billing.

Lastly Dan, you are just a plain nice guy, and I appreciated the chances I had just to chat with you about my project, our families, our kids, and life. Please feel free to use me as a reference for anyone who is considering using your services.
